Contest Rules 

The Gone in 92 Seconds YQM Edition contest (hereinafter: the “Contest”) is brought to you by Stingray Radio (hereinafter: the “Contest Organizers”). The Contest runs in Fredericton, Canada from July 3, 2026 to August 26, 2026 (hereinafter: the “Contest Period”). 

ELIGIBILITY 

This Contest is open to persons residing in New Brunswick within the terrestrial FM signal coverage area of New Country 92.3 who have reached the age of majority as of the first day of the Contest Period. Notwithstanding the preceding, the Contest is not open to individuals associated with the Contest, including the employees, agents and representatives of the Contest Organizers (including their respective divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates and agencies), their advertising and promotional agencies, and other suppliers of prizes, materials and services related to this contest or any other party directly linked to the holding of this Contest (the “Excluded Individuals”). 

This Contest is also not open to the immediate family members of the Excluded Individuals. For the purpose of these Contest Rules, “immediate family” includes: father, mother, brothers, sisters, children, legal or common-law spouse and individuals with whom such employees, agents and representatives reside. This contest is not open to any individuals who have won a prize from New Country 92.3 in the past 30 days with a prize value under $1,000 CDN. This contest is not open to any individuals who have won a prize from New Country 92.3 in the past year with a prize value of $1,000 CDN or higher. 

HOW TO ENTER AND PLAY 

No purchase necessary. To enter, you must comply with the eligibility criteria set out in these Contest Rules within the Contest Period. To enter, contestants must properly fill out the entry form at NewCountry923.com during the contest period.  

In the event that an entry is unintelligible or the provided address cannot be easily found using Google Maps, it may be discarded. 

Between 9am and 10am on Wednesdays during the contest period, an announcer will broadcast an entrant’s name from the driveway of the location specified in their entry. That entrant will be selected by random draw at the offices of New Country 92.3 one hour prior to the gameplay. The announcer will be seated in a marked New Country 92.3 vehicle. At that moment, a 92-second timer will begin. The entrant must hear their name announced over the radio, and then proceed to the vehicle before the 92-second timer expires. If the contestant does not touch the vehicle, or the tickets within the announcer’s hand, within the 92-second timer, they have been disqualified and their prize is no longer available. If they do touch the vehicle or claim the tickets from the announcer’s hand in time, they have won the prize pending the signature of a release waiver. 

For this contest, entrants must listen using an FM radio to ensure that broadcast audio is not delayed or buffered. Appliances such as an FM radio alarm clock, FM radio stereo/boombox, or FM radio inside a vehicle are recommended. Entrants who listen to the radio using an internet device including but not limited to a smart speaker, smartphone, computer, app, or television will be severely disadvantaged due to buffering delays. In that case, an entrant may not hear their name until their 92 seconds has already lapsed. The over-the-air FM radio signal is the only medium within full control of New Country 92.3 which can be guaranteed as non-delayed. 

Contestants are responsible for ensuring clear radio reception during the contest period. Should the announcer’s broadcast be interrupted by station-side technical issues, that day’s contest will only be validated if the contestant’s name did clearly make it onto the air, which shall be verified later in the day using New Country 92.3’s broadcast archive recordings. For clarity, the New Country 92.3 vehicle appearing in a contestant’s driveway is not enough on its own to trigger an entrant’s eligibility to claim the prize. 

By participating in this Contest, entrants consent to the video recording of their appearance and voice which may be broadcast on-air, and shown on social media. 

PRIZE DESCRIPTION: 

There are seven (7) prizes available to be won. Each prize includes: 

New Country 92.3 reserves the right to visit more than one home during each Wednesday of the contest period. Despite the Contest organizer’s best efforts, certain delays may cause the contest to extend beyond 10am on some contest days.  

There is a limit of one prize per person per household. In addition, a contestant will not be eligible to win more than one prize during a period of thirty (30) days in any contest held by New Country 92.3 for prizes valued under $1,000 or a period of one (1) year for prizes valued at $1,000 or higher. Any potential winner selected in this Contest who does not comply with this condition will automatically be disqualified. ID may be required when claiming the prize. 

The odds of winning will depend upon the number of participants in the contest and the contestant’s ability to reach the New Country 92.3 vehicle when hearing their name called.
